This rig
is currently stacked. A detailed description
follows. |
Skiddable Rig Floor and Substructure
|
|
The T-39-Workover Rig
can be skidded in longitudinal and transverse directions. The unit
is equipped with 4 DRECO Skidding Jacks. The first two jacks are
installed on the intermediate structure and the second two jacks
are installed on the skid base itself. This configuration allows an
easy and efficient movement from well to well.
|

|
Modular Design
|
|
|
The T-39 was
developed to save time during rig up and tear down operations.
Therefore all components are integrated into the four main
modules. Major equipment, e. g. accumulator unit, mud pump,
generator are skid mounted. The main modules accommodate the
following components:
|
|
Module I: Offices,
change room, accumulator unit, HP cleaner
Module II:
Cat-Engine, SCR-Unit, centrifugal pumps
Module III:
Cat-Engine, SCR-Unit, Centrifugal pumps
Module IV: Fire tank
compartments with mud hopper and degasser.
The substructure is
also subdivided into in three main modules:
Module A: 1
Skid base
for to enable longitudinal and transverse skidding
Module B:
Intermediate structure with water tank
Module C:
Drill floor
with equipment

The Mast
|
|
|
The mast is a free
standing cantilever type and consists of two sections. The upper
section accommodates the crown frame and the block. The mast
erection is as follows:
· Swing top mast
section over and pin into position using the platform crane
· Mount “A”-frame
using the platform crane
· Erect complete
mast into upright position using the drawworks
The mast structure
and crown block are re-certified according to API
4F-specifications.

BOP Closing Unit / Accumulator
|
 |
The BOP Closing Unit
accumulator unit type Wagner 20-180-3 BNB has a maximum
operating pressure of 3000 PSI and a nominal reservoir capacity of
180 gal (681 l).Also included in the package are the blowout
preventers
· one Hydril GK-13
5/8” – 3000 PSIone Shaffer Double 13 5/8” – 3000 PSI

Mud System
|
|
|
In the module
III the mud pump HT-400 is installed closely to the two
centrifugal pumps and to the tank system itself. This
configuration guarantees an optimized mud flow and good
performance.
|
 |
SCR System
|
|
 |
The Workover rig is
controlled from the SCR-Unit. The SCR Unit is equipped with the
following cubicles:
· SCR cubicle for drawworks GE-motor 761
· SCR
cubicle for HP-Mud Pump motor GE 761
· One spare SCR-cubicle
· Two
generator cubicles
|
Rig Power
|
|
|
Integrated in the
modules III and IV are the powerful Caterpillar 3412 engines, each
connected to a Piller-Generator.400 KW each guarantees sufficient
power to operate the GE-761 motors and the auxiliary motors.
The available space
allows a very good access for the maintenance and service.
|
 |
Drawworks and Rotary Table
|
 |
The T-39 rig floor is
equipped with a DRECO Superior 400 E drawworks driven by a GE 761
motor. The unit is also equipped with a Parmac 122 water brake in
conjunction with the band brakes.
The Rotary Table 175
(DRECO Model) is powered via a cardan shaft from the drawworks.
|
Other Workover Rig Equipment
|
|
The well control
equipment for the operation of the T-39, like the BOP remote
control panel, the standpipe manifold, are installed on the drill
floor.

General Considerations
This
workover rig is for sale "as is where is". It can be
completely reconditioned to your specifications by an American Petroleum
Institute / API Certified Facility that is fully familiar with this rig.
