The
Northstar Pump® Skid is designed
for high capacity operations. It moves over 20,000 BOPD. It is built for 24 hours continuous duty, and contains all specified mechanical and electronic safety controls.
It includes:
A SPM, Gardner Denver or OPI 1300 horsepower triplex plunger pump capable of delivering 588 gpm @ 2100 psi - rated at 94% V.E., new or rebuilt to zero hours.
A Caterpillar® diesel engine driver rated at 1500 horsepower.
A Murphy hermetically sealed control panel for engine and pump with all necessary shutdowns - Division 2 suitable. New or rebuilt to zero hours.
Power Takeoff
Safety Relief Valve System with pressure settings up to 2500 psi
Alarm / Shutdown Control System for Engine-Driven Pumps and Compressors provides facilities for tying in a shut-down signal from the company plant ESD system.
Heavy Duty Skid Assembly
Steel three runner oilfield type skid assembly with Integral fuel tank for diesel engine and integral oil sump for reciprocating plunger pump with level controllers and flame arrestor/vent, fiberglass grating, drip pans with drain system - all manufactured under approved welding procedures
Skid Dimensions
The skid is 9' wide, 26' long, and 11' high to the top of the canopy. The skid weighs 40,000 lbs.
Three Coat Paint System
Inorganic zinc silicate primer, multipurpose
epoxy intermediate coat and gloss aliphatic polyurethane topcoat to customer color of choice.
