DOUBLE DRUM DRAWWORKS, 600 HORSEPOWER CAPACITY with a 61,500-lb. single
line pull on a bare drum in 1ST gear.
INNOVATIVE DRIVE DESIGN eliminates all live chains, reduces moving
parts, and reduces weight.
ALL DRAWWORKS MEET OR EXCEED API RECOMMENDATION for design criteria and
are engineered to meet a minimum 4: 1 safety factor.
ALL DRAWWORKS BEARINGS; SEALS AND CHAINS are off-the-shelf items and may
be purchased directly from the factory or from parts distributors
worldwide.

1002:3 - DRAWWORKS FRAME
THE FF450 FRAME is a milled steel structure utilizing 2 x 3 structural
material and one-piece ½ in. drawworks side plates.
SIDE PLATES are a one-piece design to increase drawworks rigidity and
aid in providing an excellent chain case seal.
1002:4 - 1.1.4 DRUMS
DRAWWORKS DRUMS are dynamically balanced to ensure smooth running.
WIDE BARREL DESIGN reduces line interference when operating double fast
line.
EXCLUSIVE SPOOL DRUM DESIGN reduces drum shaft flex and weight while
increasing total strength.
TUBING DRUM has LEBUS grooving with turn back and kick plates to reduce
line wear and assist in spooling.
1002:5 - BRAKE SYSTEM
HARDENED STEEL ONE-PIECE BRAKE FLANGES, hard surfaced at 52-54 Rockwell
and ground smooth, brake mechanisms are mechanical self-energizing style
bands with API drilled brake blocks.
BRAKE BANDS feature roller adjusting band return, single point brake
band adjustment, and asbestos brake blocks.
ALL MOVEMENT POINTS have bronze bushings for long life and ease of
maintenance. Flanges are cooled via water spray system.
1002:7 - DRUM CLUTCH
PANCAKE STYLE AIR CLUTCH mounted outboard of drawworks frame and chain
case. The clutch is mounted on lower out-put shaft.
Manufacturer’s exclusive use of the clutch on the lower shaft reduces
required clutch size, air requirements and eliminates live drawworks
chains.
1002:8 - CHAIN DRIVES
ALL DRIVE CHAINS are Diamond 140 chains, oil bathed for long life.
CHAIN is fully enclosed in a one-piece chain case with a 3/8 in. thick
gasket flange. The design prevents case leakage due to warping.
ACCESS PANEL provides for chain maintenance and removal without removing
the chain case.
1002:9 - POWER DRIVE
THE FF450 RIGHT ANGLE BOX utilizes a commercially manufactured gear
assembly or “third member”.
THE THIRD MEMBER is mounted in a fabricated steel box and centrally
located in the drawworks frame.
THE POWER DRIVE PACKAGE is rated for a maximum input of 600-hp.
Manufacturer’s design allows right angle box to be serviced through
world-wide service centers with “off-the-shelf” components.
1002:10 - DRAWWORKS CONTROLS
MAIN DRUM CONTROL including brake lever, clutch control, gear selector,
engine throttle, and emergency shutdown are located on the operators
console at the rear of the rig.
CONSOLE is conveniently located for excellent visibility and operator
comfort.
THE SAND DRUM CONTROLS include brake lever; clutch, engine throttle and
emergency shutdown and are located on the drawworks frame for excellent
drum visibility and operator comfort.
1002:11 - LUBRICATION
SINGLE-POINT DRUM bearing lubrication with lubrication return lines.
Lubrication system ensures complete lubrication of main drum bearings.
RETURN LINES for grease provides for visual confirmation of complete
lubrication.
LUBRICATION POINTS are conveniently located outside the drawworks frame
for ease of maintenance.
1002:12 - AUXILIARY HOIST
HYDRAULIC “WORM GEAR” STYLE HOIST mounted of the rig deck.
HOIST CAPACITY is 12,000 lbs. (4.53 mt) and includes:

1003:6 - CROWN BLOCK
CROWN BLOCK is set up for a 4 line string-up.
CROWN SHEAVES are grooved for 1in (25.4 mm) Wireline. All sheaves are
mounted on tapered roller bearings with grease zerts for ease of
maintenance.
CROWN INCLUDES:
(1) One 24 in (610 mm) fast line sheave,
(4) Four 24 in (610 mm) crossover sheaves, and
(1) One 24 in (762 mm) sandline sheave.
1003:8 - DERRICK RAISING SYSTEM
THE DERRICK utilizes , 3-stage, double acting raising rams and a single,
single-stage scooping cylinder.
RAISING AND TELESCOPING CONTROLS are located near the operator’s console
for easy access and operation.
HYDRAULIC PRESSURE GAUGES are mounted on the driller’s console to
provide system monitoring during the raising / lowering process.
THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM incorporates a safety choke system to prevent
pressure loss to telescoping or raising cylinders due to a hydraulic
line rupture or damage.
1003:9 - GUYLINES
DERRICK includes (2) load guys from the crown to Skid.
While additional wind guys are recommended for safe rig operation, they
are not offered as standard equipment due to the wide variety of
configurations use in the oilfield.
1003:10 - DEADLINE ANCHOR
DEADLINE ANCHOR is designed and manufactured in accordance with API
specifications and rated for a 50,000-lbs. maximum deadline load.
Located on off operators side of rig floor and comes with line clamp.

1004:5 - TRANSFER CASE
Commercially produced GEAR DRIVEN TRANSFER CASE.
1 in 2 out configuration, rated for 600 net input horsepower.
Transfer case distributes power to drawworks and Skid. Includes air
activated disconnects for selection of road / winch gear.
1005 - AIR, ELECTRIC, AND HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS
1005:1 - AIR SYSTEM
One (1) ENGINE DRIVEN 750 CFM COMPRESSOR pressurizing a 5-tank air
system plumbed in accordance with applicable DOT regulations and
requirements.
CHECK VALVES prevent accidental air pressure loss from system due to
single line failure.
MAIN AIRS LINES are plumbed with OEM style steel airlines and
compression fittings rather than threaded pipe.
1005:2 - ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
12-volt electrical system, consisting of:
(1) 100-amp alternator
(2) 120 series batteries
(1) 12V. Starter and voltmeter, batteries are located in a sealed steel
battery box mounted on the Skid deck. Location of box provides excellent
access for maintenance and service.
1005:3 - HYRAULIC SYSTEM
85 Gallon per minute system provides 2,500 psi.
Working pressure for all rig hydraulics and accessory drives.
Pump is mounted on top of transmission!
System features a bypass to tank while not in use.
Hydraulic system incorporates a 150-gallon hydraulic tank with filters,
suction strainer, and main tank shutoff.
1005:4 - TONG CIRCUIT
RIG HYDRAULIC SYSTEM provides a 2500 PSI / 63 GPM tong circuit.

1007 - PAINT & PREPARATION
1007:1 - PREPARATION
Rig is thoroughly hot washed, prior to painting.
WE need color codes with order as we paint components
Before assemble.
1007:2 - PRIMER COAT
A zinc primer system is applied to a thickness of 3 – 4 mills, exceeding
industry standards.
1007:3 - FINISH COAT
The unit is finish coated with up to two colors of the customers
choosing.
The finish coat is a Customer request system for long lasting gloss and
minimal chipping or pealing. We have standard budget Anchor paint,
Special Codes and chemical paint is extra as we have so many different
requests. We will ask the customer to pay the spread difference.
The finish coat is 3 - 4 mills in thickness, depending upon color.
Unless otherwise stated, Transmission will be painted to match the rig.
1008 - RIG DELIVERY & COMMISSIONING
1008:1 - PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION
Seller will conduct a standard pre-delivery systems test. These tests
check function and operation of rig and associated components.
Customer is provided copy of inspection report.
The unit is at no time tested with destructive testing methods such as
load, dynamometer, or other tests.
1008:2 - PACKAGING
No packaging is included in this quotation.
1008:3 - RIG SHIPPING
Rig is quoted EXWORKS Manufacturer’s factory.
EXWORKS as defined according to “Incoterms 2000” international shipping
guidelines.
1008:4 - TRAINING
A 3-hour training and orientation program for up to 6 persons is
included.
This training is provided at the manufacturer’s factory.
Customer travel, accommodations, meals and local transfers are not
included.
1008:5 - ON-SITE COMMISSIONING
No onsite commissioning is included in this quotation
